The Fatted Calf

“And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.”
Luke 15:23-24

The Fatted Calf is a non-profit organization dedicated to glorifying and obeying God by providing training and career opportunities to the fatherless and less-privileged of Mexico. Funds generated through donations are used entirely to benefit those in need, by growing businesses in Mexico that will provide training and career opportunities. The Fatted Calf cooperates closely with the orphanage Casa Vida y Esperanza to provide hope to children, but The Fatted Calf is not limited to helping orphans and plans to provide opportunities to other needy persons in Mexico as well.

The primary focus of this new “business” is meat processing, with an initial product offering of shelf-stable meat products with flavors tailored to the Mexican culture. As the “business” becomes more “profitable”, proceeds will be used to further the mission of The Fatted Calf and broaden the impact to more orphans and people in need.
